Custom House Museum

Originally constructed as a US Post Office, The Custom House Museum & Cultural Center is the 2nd largest general museum in Tennessee. Its mission is to collect, preserve, and interpret historical, artistic, and scientific material.

Since its construction, its 35,000 sq ft. of exhibit space has housed 100,000’s of visitors at all ages.

Dunbar Cave State Park

Dunbar Cave State Park is a 110-acre area situated around Dunbar Cave. Dunbar Cave is the 280th largest cave in the world. It’s origins go all the way back to the Paleo Indian Time between 10000 – 8000 B.C.

Today, visitors can witness the prehistoric cave art left by the Mississippian Native Americans during the 14th century, over three miles of hiking trails, and year-round birding.

Roxy Theater

Manhatten has Radio City Music Hall and Clarksville has Roxy Theater. Since the early 1900s, Clarksville residents have known the corner of Franklin and First as the hub of local entertainment. Originally called The Lillian Theater, Roxy Theater was built in 1913.

After a fire and the great depression, the theater went dark, however, it reemerged after the construction of Fort Campbell in 1941-1942.
